If you ever thought the odds are stacked against you getting published then you are right…until you know that the odds are severely shortened if you decide that you will self-publish. Literary agents get flooded with submissions, editors are deluged with manuscripts and the publishers have a conveyor belt of books on the go to the presses and they know that only a small percentage will make money. My research led me to these facts and it was these daunting odds I stared at when I decided to take the plunge anyway.
