So the New York Times published its 100 Notable Books of 2012 the other day. I’d be embarrassed to say that I haven’t read any of them, but I’m not because I was too busy reading other good books this year. Plus this list gave me some really good ideas for my Christmas list.
Another good book list for 2012 was Slate’s Underrated Book List. I haven’t read any of these either but they look similarly intriguing. Dan Kois at Slate also picked his 15 favorite books this year. Hey, I actually read one of those! And I agree, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green was stunning. I finished that and wished my daughter was older so she could read it and we could gush over it. Oh well.
