I’m an attorney specializing in commercial law and bankruptcy, but like all attorneys I secretly have always wanted to be a writer. I admire the authors of the books I am reading and must admit I have only succeeded in writing a children’s book, which was illustrated by my late mother, Betty.
The back story, which is found on the back cover is this. I was visiting friends in Anchorage and we wanted to take a tour of the city. The seven year old didn’t want to go, so I naively said-“An Li get in car and while we’re driving, I’ll tell you a story.” Fool that I was, I thought she would forget my solemn promise, but as soon as the car started to move she said, “O.K. Auntie Jayne, where is my story.”
