Right now in Texas we’re having a mild winter. More time to spend outdoors! Maybe the weather’s not as favorable where you live, but if you do have the opportunity to get outside and fill your lungs with some fresh air, Christina has some great tips on how you can turn your nature trek into moments of inspired writing.

Don’t wait until the notion strikes –  I have daydreams of myself perched atop a mountain, wind blowing in my hair, gazing at the world between thoughtful insights I’ve just penned in my journal. What really happens is that by the time I reach the end of the hiking trails I’ve become overly concerned with having my picture taken on the peak (“Make sure you tag me in that!”).
