Book Review: Delirium

This definitely slowed down my reading pace for my Summer Book Marathon. I was expecting to breeze through this book like I did with my first two books. (The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin was read in two days, and Switched by Amanda Hocking was finished in a time of one and a half days.) With all the positive reviews of Lauren Oliver’s Delirium, I was timing myself to finish this in two days; three, tops.

Unfortunately, I didn’t. (It took me five days to finish this!)

Delirium is the first book of a trilogy of the same name, featuring a world wherein love is identified as a disease. Lena Haloway-Tiddle has always looked forward to the cure that will free her from any traces of amor deliria nervosa or love. That is, until she fell in love.
