My last few posts have been good for me to write, and I hope people have enjoyed reading them, but I do feel like they’ve been kind of heavy. Heavier than I usually write, at least. So, today, I figured I’d do something fun and light. How do you know you’re a writer?
- YOU DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING BORED ON SLOW DAYS AT WORK. Slow days mean time to plot, or even to write. While you’re being paid. What’s not to like???
- YOU PEOPLE-WATCH A LOT. And envision the more, well, unique individuals as book characters, either minor or major, attributing characteristics based on their appearance. Kind of superficial–ok, VERY superficial–but productive in a professional sense.
- DREAMS ARE PLOT-FODDER AND STORY-FODDER. Well, they can be. Not 100% of the time, or anything close to that, but they can be. The ones you can remember to some extent, anyway.
